This week we started reading Amazing Esme by Tamara Macfarlane.

In the book Esme goes to visit her cousins, who live in Maclinkey Castle. The castle is crazy and chaotic. lots of weird and wonderful animals live there. Your homework this week is to draw Maclinkey castle and write some interesting sentences to describe it.

The book is full of fantastic descriptions. What do you think the castle library or kitchen looks like? Try to imagine the bad-mannered tea party. If you draw any Amazing Esme pictures at home, then bring them in to school and we will display them in our book corner.
