Holi - the Hindu festival of colours
Today we learnt about Holi which is a Hindu festival of colours. It celebrates the legend of Holika and Prahlad. What happened in this story?
Hindus celebrate Holi by having bonfires to burn last year's rubbish so they can make new beginnings.
They also have processions and dancing.
In many parts of the world people throw coloured water or paint over each other to celebrate.
We used poster paint in bottles to make our Holi pictures on paper.
Can you find out anything else about Holi?

Programming software to carry out a task
Today Miss smiles gave us a challenge. We had to get bee-bot to spell our names.
We opened our bee-bot mat and had to write the code to make sure that our bee-bot moved to the correct letters in the correct order.
If we managed to do it we then had to try and do it in less commands.
We had to get up, out of our seats in order to figure out the left and right moves.
Some of us came across a few problems. See our videos below.
