Instructions and Algorithms

In computing this term, we are learning about algorithms and how they are used on digital devices.  

Today, we worked in pairs to create our own algorithms to move each other around small courses in the playground.  

We had to use the commands - forwards, backwards and turn left or right and then wrote these sets of instructions down using symbols.

By doing this, we had created our own algorithms.  Next, we will be using algorithms to program the Beebots to move around on the screen.
