Literacy

This week Year 2 have been looking at adventure stories. We read lots of Magic Key books and discussed the characters.

WALT: write a detailed character description.

Steps to Success:
1. Choose a character from the Magic Key stories.
2. Write sentences describing their appearance.
3. Write a description of the character thinking about how they behave, how they feel in the story and what they like and dislike.
4. Check your description makes sense and check your punctuation.

Kathryn and Millie both chose to describe Kipper. Here is Kathryn's character description in her own words and spelling:-

Kipper
Appearance
Kipper has blonde hair and very light peach skin. He has blue eyes and his eyes are kind. Kipper's eyes are light green round his pupil, light blue in the middle and very dark blue round the light blue.
Behaviour
Kipper is very happy most of the time but he can get a bit angry. He is really quite adventurous and very brave. Often Kipper is cheery and friendly but sometimes he can get a bit curious.



Here is Millie's character description in her own words and spelling.
Kipper
Appearance
Kipper is a small young boy with short blonde hair. He also has a baby blue jaket and a t-shirt wich is orenge and wite. He has a dark blue pair of trousers. His trousers as blue as the sky.
Behaveuiour
He is a happy and joyful boy. Sometimes he is angry with people because they humiliate him in front of his family and friends.
Likes
He likes dipping strawberrys into melted chocolate. He also loves his teacher Mrs May. He likes welcoming new people to his school.
Dislikes 
He dislikes people who are mean, hurtful and horible. He absolutly do'snot like people with nits. He d's not like peanutbutter sandwiches.
