Maths games

This term we have been playing new maths games which focus on several different areas of maths. We normally spend 5-10 minutes on each game and it is a fun way for the children to get ready for the lesson ahead.

Why don't you try some of the games yourself?

Guess the number
In this game you are given 5 clues to a number and have to work out what number the dog is thinking of. You can choose your difficulty of a number between 1 and 25, 1 and 50 or if you want a real challenge
1 and 100.

Check out challenge
Here you are a worker at a shop and you need to work out the correct amount of change to give to the customer. After you have worked out how much change to give you need to use the right amount of coins that give you the correct change.

Hit the button
In this game you need to try and get as many questions right in one minute. You can try doubling and halving, times tables or number bonds. What will be your high score?
