Egg Rocket

Yesterday, we continued our Outdoor Week by designing, creating, making and evaluating a rocket for an egg.
Our brief was to design a rocket to keep an egg safe when it was dropped from the top of our playground equipment.
We worked in groups and used everyday objects to design our rockets. Some of us were successful, some of us weren't.
After we had launched them, and saw our results, we discussed in our groups what we would do differently next time.

Claudia said she would change the position of her parachute to stop the egg falling out.
Harry explained that he would build a bigger cushion to stop the egg falling.
Luke said he would re-think the whole design! He said it was a disaster!
