This afternoon we made our own kites. We used tissue paper, straws, string and masking tape. Once we had made them, we flew them outside and thought all the different words to describe how they move.
These are the ideas we came up with:
Swaying like long grass
Wiggling like a snake
Dancing softly
Twirling slowly
Twisting quickly
Bobbing slowly up and down like people in the water.
Tomorrow, we will use some of these ideas to write our own poems,
